I always try to think outside the box, in this case my body, in order to solve my problems. I imagine what a distant friend would advise me to do and things look clearer this way. I once needed my SR 22 after an accident and it just expired a few days before. I thought I was gonna lose it. I really needed my car to get to work every morning and I didn't had the money to fix it. I started thinking of ways to get around it and I found some. I used the bus for a while so I actually managed to put some money aside because I wasn't buying gasoline anymore. My mom chipped in and after 4 months of bus traveling I got my car fixed.

Moore issued quarterly reports and filled out annual returns with the government. If employees retired or left the company or if they took out a loan, they would get their checks immediately. There were no signs the fund was mismanaged. Moore managed to hide the problem by paying out withdraws from employees' contributions, said Scheer and the fidelity 401k attorney for the employees, Thomas Moukawsher. The announcement of the move may have forced the trustee to admit his wrongdoing.

Many people I believe fall into the pit hole of your first 2 strategies. The thinking is what gets people to do crazy things, ruminating will only exacerbate the problem and make it bigger than it actually is. Taking change for what it actually is and embracing will indeed help with coping and seeing the next logical step to take.
