I hope Microsoft might want to look into that or partner some of the digital copier manufacturers who are lacking in this area. This would form a formidable partnership. Think of SharePoint as network play-dough. It is pliable, and even more so if you have .net development expertise. Also, it is generally very reasonable to hire in "outsourced" expertise to assist with standing this solution up.
