		<description>Strong One, you are absolutely correct - it is indeed harder to realize you are &quot;holding your breath&quot;... believe it or not. You hit it on the head.

Our instructors in Aikido teach us that we won&#039;t always be in a constant state of awareness, but we should be able to instantly arrive there - or choose when you are &quot;there&quot;.

The only &#039;constant&#039; is change, and survival depends upon your ability to be like water :-)

I do my best to practice this daily, at work and at home.
I think that&#039;s the challenge, is not only practicing the &#039;practice&#039;, but knowing the differences when you&#039;re not.
In my humble opinion it&#039;s much harder to realize your not doing it, as opposed to being in that constant state.
But I guess that&#039;s the real lesson. You never will be in any &#039;constant&#039; state. Being able to adapt to how you change to the changes around you... I think.. would be the key.
